There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in BNL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game in Limpopo was quite interesting. Suns played at the court of Pride. Suns managed to secure a 5-point victory 49-44 on Sunday. Suns held Pride to an opponent 23.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 27.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Suns forced 21 Pride turnovers and outrebounded them 55-40 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was swingman Siphumle Qanya who scored 13 points. Ludwig Gerdes (191-94) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Ernest Masimini produced 14 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Swingman Nkosinathi Sibanyoni orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Chukwurah contributed with 7 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Zimbabwean power forward Thomas Rutsito (202-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 20 rebounds and 8 blocks for Zebras. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

The best stats of 2nd round was 8 points and 12 rebounds by Vlademir Sefala of L.Pride.



Egoli Magic - NC Zebras 64-57

The game with biggest result difference took place in Johannesburg. Local Magic beat Zebras 64-57. Magic forced 19 Zebras turnovers and outrebounded them 50-39 including 20 on the offensive glass. Swingman Nkosinathi Sibanyoni orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Chukwurah contributed with 7 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Zimbabwean power forward Thomas Rutsito (202-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 20 rebounds and 8 blocks and guard Didier Tshimanga added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Zebras. Four Zebras players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
